Monumental Artwork Breaks Guiness Record

 Dr. Fola David, a Nigerian doctor and hyper-realism artist, has recently made headlines by setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest drawing by an individual. His monumental artwork, titled "Unity in Diversity," spans an impressive 1,050 square meters and was created over six days at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos, Nigeria. This achievement not only showcases his artistic talent but also serves as a powerful symbol of Nigeria's rich cultural heritage, reflecting the nation's diversity through art. 

The record-breaking attempt began on July 16, 2024, and by the fourth day, Dr. David had already surpassed the previous record of 629.98 square meters, which was held by Indian artist Ravi Soni. His dedication and meticulous planning allowed him to push beyond expectations, culminating in the completion of his expansive drawing on July 21. The artwork features two giant hands holding the map of Nigeria, embodying the message that the country's diversity should unite rather than divide its people.The event attracted a large crowd of supporters, art enthusiasts, and media, creating an electric atmosphere filled with anticipation and excitement.
